Introduction to Chocolate Making

We are excited to host our Introduction to Chocolate Making Workshop.
What will the workshop cover:
Learn the origins of chocolate and the basics of different types of chocolates, how to temper chocolate and how to paint chocolate using cocoa butters. Learn about the different ways that chocolate can be used to create stuff like bonbons and leave the class having learned how to make your very own chocolate bar using polycarbonate moulds, decorated with your personal choice of toppings.
All supplies are included, plus take home recipes and instructions and your very own custom chocolate bar!
Elena (Yosselin) Appolloni will be leading the workshop, with her strong passion for all things chocolate, she is a graduate from the Baking and Pastry Arts Management program with honours while receiving the School of Hospitality, Recreation, and Tourism’s Dean’s Award at Humber College. Before starting her post-graduate studies, she was the Pastry Chef at Credit Valley Golf and Country Club and completed a summer internship with ChocoSol Traders. She is currently part of the post graduate program at Humber College’s Advanced Chocolate and Confectionery Artistry.
This workshop is vegan and gluten free friendly!
